These questions are in regard to a 2-serial-port MIDI adapter that we are developing. That means it can handle 32 MIDI channels. Please describe the MIDI interface You would want to buy and use... o How many OUTS should it have? o How many THRUS should it have? o Does it need to have a switchable OUT/THRU? o Would it still need a switchable OUT/THRU if it had "enough" OUTS? o How many is "enough" OUTS? o Should any/all OUTS/THRUS be switchable between port 1 and port 2? o Does it need to have LEDS to indicate signal presence? o Would you like to be able to merge the two IN adaptors to a single serial port? o Does it need a serial-port pass-thru? ( Remember this is your 2nd and 3rd serial ports ) o What existing AMIGA MIDI software would You like to see make use of these extra/alternate MIDI channels?? o How much would You pay for this "dream" MIDI adaptor? o Which features are "must haves"? o Which features are "nice to have if not too expensive?" BTW, which user groups do the Amiga MIDI enthusiasts hang out on? If you would like to e-mail me your replies, send them to ckp@grebyn.com. Thanks.
