A normal arrow key outputs an ESC (or ESC+128? I forget) followed by A, B, C, or D. By making the qualified keys output these strings several times you can simulate a turbo cursor for most programs that process strings through keymaps. I don't remap the shifted keys since so many programs or input handlers already assign them special meaning, but I do find that 2 cursor jumps for ALTed arrows and 4 for CTRLed arrows saves significant time when doing lots of cursoring.
