"Rolling your own" with ARexx is *really* a nice idea, and I think it will be quite a while before all thr permutations of it are explored. Rexx comes from the IBM mainframe environment originally, but it is a bigger concept than that. I'm impressed with the Amiga community for being able to absorb & utilize such things - the synergy of the hardware and software is pretty amazing...
