I have taken a zero tolerance stand with this kind of trash. I've tried using UltraCard on 4 different Amiga's, all with the same results. What I have started doing is to let the developer's know that I want nothing more from them, not an update, refund, NOTHING! And that I'll not purchase any further products from the company. Besides being a royal pain for us long time Amiga users, software this flakey really puts off first-time buyers and strengthens the myth that the Amiga is not a "stable" machine. I've been in the computing business for more than 15 years and have learned not to expect perfect - bug free software, but I do expect it to be somewhat usable. In a time when the honest supportive developers ( and the Amiga itself) are struggling, we need fewer stories like yours and mine.
