I was cleaning up, and decided to remove all of the backup files created by mg2a. I had just entered rm #?~ when I decided to see just how many files that was, so I hit ^U and typed list #?~. Low and behold: I got a listing of my entire directory. After I laughed the laugh-of-terror, I readjusted my path so that the standard c: comes before alt:arp/c. I must have missed the sentence in the ARP manual that states that ~ is some special character. Is there a way to turn this off? Is this part of ASH and not part of the arp.library argument processing? Also, using ARP protect always crashes my system. Has this been fixed? If so who do I contact?
