I wouldn't think there'd be any that big obstacles, except that gcc is quite memory-hungry but 8 meg should be enough for most compiles. Well, it runs on Minix on the Atari ST, anyway. I'm planning to use my Amiga 1000 as a console for the pc32532 board (8 MIPS machine based on the National chip). I don't want to buy a commercial compiler for the Amiga side of the software when gcc is available and probably makes better code anyway. So, can any of the Amiga gurus tell me why noone has yet ported gcc to the amiga ? //Jyrki
