I finally got around to checking.  I found an ad for the EquiDisk Plus in the
June 1986 issue of Nibble.  It was made by H&M Disk Drives (1101 E. Pacifico,
Anaheim, CA  92805).  More info:  it looked vaguely like an Apple DuoDisk with
a power switch in the middle, and it was compatible with DOS 3.3, ProDOS, and
CP/M.  Again, I don't know if H&M is still in business or not.
