We just upgraded our 780 from VMS 4.7 to 5.2. We have a DR11W driver that
uses QIOW's and AST's to communicate with the DEC "XA Driver" software.
Everything worked fine (just slow) under 4.7, but since we've move to 5.2 it
no longer works! What I really don't understand is that the first 3 QIOWs work
and the last one does not (I get a FATAL DRIVE ERROR). I tried elliminating
the last one and the write was successful, but the reads wouldn't work.

Has anyone out there had any similar problems. I'm just curious to know if we
did something stupid or was there some system change that DEC forgot to
mention in the release notes.
