George: The DEC HD controller will handle drives of much larger capacity, I have an ST-251 40 MB drive on mine and know of others with even larger drives. The problem to over come is the DEC Winchester Utility, I think only handles upto 20mb drive. There is a PD utility avail on many RB BBS called WUTIL that will format and partition large drives. You will also have to modify the boot loaders if the drive you select has a different number of surfaces than DEC bootloder supports(I forget the details) A PD program POLYPRAT does this. Ed Kushall
