You need Pcomm...

Pcomm v1.2.4 appeared in comp.sources.unix as v20i067 thru v20i075.
Pcomm (plus patches 5 and 6) is also available via anonymous ftp from
cerl.cecer.army.mil (129.229.1.101).

There is a bug that will show up in BSD systems that I haven't yet
released a patch for.  In the meantime, comment out the guts of the
do_pause() function in dial.c
