Does anyone know anything about the MULTIS parallel processing
cards that were advertised in the December 1989 Communications
of the ACM?  The ad promises that these cards will turn a PC
or clone into a supercomputer: sixteen of the little suckers
will provide you  with 640 MIPS of processing power.

Is this legitimate?  How does it work?
