A friend a spare Compaq type 47 drive hanging around his
office and would like to put it into a new 386 machine he has
just bought.  The drive has 966 tracks and 5 heads with 25 tracks
per sector. Does anyone out there know what type of interface Compaq uses
on this drive i.e scsi, esdi, etc. Does anyone know of a controller besides
Compaq's that would work with this drive.  Please respond via e-mail, because
I don't usually read this group.
