I had had a problem with getting White Knight 11.0 to receive zmodem
files sent from Unix using even the latest version of sz.  I had tried a
number of things to get this solved, including borrowing friend's
"WK11 Stuff" files.  Nothing would fix it.  Auto-receive would work, but 
none of the registers would increment.

The solution: I was using "screen" a Unix program that allows you to
multiplex several full-screen windows on a single terminal.  I have been
using it so ubiquitously, that I hadn't even realized it.  When I exited
screen, WK auto-receive of zmodem worked fine.
