I've done this seek test probably 20 times now over a period of a week, and my 80 meg Quantum with the new ROM seems to be doing it's flipped out exercise routines less often. The performance degrading random routines do keep returning, however, and I then need to do another seek test in order to get some hard drive relief. Peter Espen espen@well
