PSEUDO-SPOILERS....

Anyone out there worked this one out yet?  I'm stymied in two
places at the moment, the first is at the gate with the runes,
the second is on the boat.  Also, I think I know how to deal
with demon but I'm out of the necessary ingredients.  The musings
don't seem to be much help at this point.
