Evanston, Il. Lines: 20 I've already posted this information in another thread, but I wanted to also post it as a separate message with its own title to make sure people see it. We have received two reports of serious problems with version 1.0 of the Eradicator! INIT that I posted a few days ago. We recommend that you do not use it. The Eradicator! INIT was written by three programmers in Belgium to detect and remove the new WDEF virus. We recieved source from the programmers in Belgium yesterday, and we are working on developing a more reliable version of the INIT. I apologize for posting what appears to be a buggy INIT - I tested it on my Mac II, and it seemed to work perfectly, so I posted it right away. This was probably unwise, although I thought it was important to get it out as soon as possible. John Norstad Northwestern University jln@acns.nwu.edu
