Message-ID: <16418215MES@MSU> Date: 10 Dec 89 04:36:54 GMT Organization: Michigan State University Lines: 14 I recently purchased a MAC IIci, and noticed that the image in the Apple color monitor has a wobble (I think about 6/second). I took it back to the dealer, and it was rock steady there...??, so could it be that the electrical socket I was plugging the MAC into is not grounded? No, we discovered that with the MAC plugged into the same outlet, on a long extension cord, and setting in another room, the problem seemed to be almost totally eliminated, only it wobbled in a different direction. That leads me to think that it could be caused by the electrical cables hanging in the air about ten feet away from my second story bedroom window (which the MAC is near). Or could it be the TV electrical cable? Does anyone have any ideas what could cause my monitor image to wobble? And what would be a solution if any? All help greatly appreciated, and I'll post a summary if requested. thanks, Mark Sartor, 1001 Albert, E. Lansing Mi. 48823 (progrmamer analyst, Mich State U. 18215mes@MSU.bitnet)
