Well I found out I indeed do have the WDEF "virus" in my Desktop file of my
SE at work. And sure enough when I rebuilt the desktop my trouble with the
screen display of fonts (ie outline in Multifinder would not show up) 
completely disapeared. Thus this virus is already present on the U of I 
campus at Champaign Illinois for those interested in where it is spreading.
Anyway that is the cause of my trouble with outline that I posted last
night here. (Still have the dual name for the Laswerwriter appearing so
I don't know where that came from).
