 I'm not sure that this should have gone to .programmers or
 .hardware, but here goes.

 What with the discussion of some incompatibilities of the IIci
 with (especially older) programs, can someone detail exactly
 what it is that is different with the ci?  Would it be hardware
 (interrupt vectors, etc?) or software (requires being truly 32
 bit clean?).  

 Just curious....
