I spoke to Adobe this morning about problems with character spacing and
they told me that they had placed a program called atmfix on Compuserve.

I don't have access to this service, but would like to try this (INIT - I
believe) could somebody send me a copy.

FYI: It's on Compuserve, Adobe section, Library 14, name atmfix.sit
it contains the widely known patch for word 4 details along with an INIT.
I am told that this forces (assists?) programs to use fractional widths.
