Message-ID: <9990@zodiac.ADS.COM> Date: 8 Dec 89 20:31:41 GMT Organization: Advanced Decision Systems, Mountain View, CA 94043, (415) 960-7300 Lines: 22 I'm seriously thinking of buying a Mac IIcx. One person on the net recommended that I go with the 24-bit colour cards for 13" Apple monitors because they were only $200-$300 more than the usual Apple card and you get 24-bits in the deal! I imagine that the 24-bit cards might speed up colour operations a bit too due to some kind of on-board processing? Question: What are the "good" brands that won't be too much more expensive than the Apple colour card (8-bit) and what are the performance hits if any? Thanks! -- John T.
