Despite I hear the usual beep after turn on and it can read the system from a floppy, the screen is completly dark. I can only see sporadic dots of light. It's possible to eject the floppy using command-e, so I assume that the problem is with some connection of the screen. I have always used it with a fan (Kensington System Saver) and now I am doubting of its effectiveness (it's noisier and vibrates nuch more than a SE fan, for instance). Moreover, the Mac has not been used intensively since I don't have a hard disk yet. I'd really appreciate your opinions on how to fix it. Should I try to check welded connections...? How much is the cost of changing the power supply, if this were the cause? Please, repply by e-mail to nestor@euler.berkeley.edu Thanks
