Message-ID: Date: 12 Dec 89 15:41:32 GMT Organization: Information Technology Center, Carnegie Mellon, Pittsburgh, PA Lines: 12 If I have a Mac+, external hard disk, and a SCSI-connected Apple Laser Printer (LW II SC) daisy chained from the Mac+ in that order, which devices should be terminated, and which should not be terminated? What's the general rule? The description I have talks in terms of the devices at the ends of the bus, but doesn't make it clear how to treat the Mac+ (in my case, is it one of three devices, or are the disk and SCSI the only two devices I need to consider?). Please respond to me, as I don't keep up with this newsgroup. I'll be happy to summarize later, if anyone is interested. --david
