Summary: Feedback on Atari Portfolio wanted Message-ID: <1989Dec7.210829.9077@agate.berkeley.edu> Date: 7 Dec 89 21:08:29 GMT Sender: markxx@garnet.berkeley.edu Organization: University of California, Berkeley Lines: 20 Has anyone used the new Atari Portfolio yet? I have seen it in the store and fiddled around with it, and it looks servicable for what I would be using it for (note taking in upcountry Thailand) as it is small and unobtrusive, and runs on AA batteries. Of course the small screen is a bit of a drag, but I would download any info back into my laptop in Chiang Rai for more extensive work. Of course the Poquet PC would be ideal, but it is too expensive for a researcher on a limited budget (even if my grant comes through!) So, has anyone used one outside of a store, or know of any other similar machines that might be serviceable? Please e-mail only, as I don't have enough time to read the net. Thanks!
