I am aware of the Mixer software (and Csound, Hetro), etc. but those tools aren't real-time (i.e. mix the sounds or add effects and hear the result dynamically). I have been told that this is theoretically possible through judicious use of the DSP but it probably requires driver mods for DSP DMA-in handling (something which was there in .8). Perhaps someone from NeXT could comment on this latter issue.
