I am trying to use the graphics mode of a tvi955 terminal.
Unfortunately, I need to set terminfo  'smacs = Escape Dollar Sign'.
I can't get tic to take the $.  I've tried \E\044 and \e\0x24.
It accepts them, but doesn't send them to the terminal.
rmacs = Escape Percent Sign, \E\%% didn't work, but \E\045 works.

I'm running UNIX SysV 2.2 on a Convergent CTIX box.
Anybody have a working tvi955 terminfo source I could have?
