I have been asked to help solve a problem that arises when using
older Wanc PC computers as terminals connected to unix or other
multi user-system. 

Those computers use an IBM PC sofware emulation that is not able
to cope with baud rates much above 1200 baud

I have converted a terminal emulator that I had to the Wang
hardware with the result that the Wang can now keep up at 9600,
without loosing data or needing xon/xoff or a large buffer.

If there is much interest in such a program outside Iceland, I would 
consider changing the program to make it suitable for international
distribution.
