I remember reading one test of scanners a while ago [PC Magazine, 11/29/89], in which several of the scanners ("The Complete Hand Scanner" and the Packard Bell "PS100") resulted in port addressing conflicts (IRQ3 and/or IRQ5, rendering com1 and/or com2 unusable) Unfortunately, only the older Scanman (non "plus" model) was tested. Thanks for any tips, etc. -- Marc Ries ries@venice.sedd.trw.com (ARPA) somewhere!trwind!venice!ries (UUCP) #include
