I fix this by making my own link right after I build a kernel and re-boot. I just ln /unix /etc/conf/cf.d/unix and no more relinking. Could probably be added to the rebuild script but don't have time to do it. Besides, everytime I fix some little thing in ISC scripts it gets lost the next time I re-install or upgrade.
