Message-ID: <10401@bsu-cs.bsu.edu> Date: 9 Dec 89 05:07:07 GMT Organization: CS Dept, Ball St U, Muncie, IN, USA Lines: 11 We are currently running 4.3 BSD with MT Xinu additions on a VAX 11/785. The University is considering changing to Ultrix. The University also has a cluster of VAXes running VMS 5.2 that they would like to connect to the UNIX system via an ISN network from ATNT. Right now this connection is being made with UUCP software. I'm interrested in reasons both for staying with the 4.3 BSD or changing to ULTRIX. Will you please send replies directly to me and I will summarize to the net? Thanks! -- Mike Lawler UUCP: !{iuvax,pur-ee}!bsu-cs!mdlawler ARPA: mdlawler@bsu-cs.bsu.edu
