It seems that twm takes longer than most window managers to display 
a window.  I have compared twm to other window managers :- attwm, uwm,
and XViews olwm; and have noticed the lasp of time to display a window
to be the greatest in twm. 

I have set "RandomPlacement" in my .twmrc file and that does not seem
to speed up the window placement.

1) Is there a way to configure twm to display the window quicker?

The problem/feature becomes noticeable when using programs that like
to popup windows to perform actions (xbrowser for example).

Any help would be appreciated...
