Is there any other way to get a pixel from the screen in X other than
using the XGetPixel Xlib function?  I really don't want to fool around
with the XImage data structure unless absolutely necessary.

Something like XDrawPoint or XDrawPoints but in reverse.

[ Yes, I know its silly to get pixels from the server because of speed
and all but sometimes your stuck...]
