    The file contrib/MOTIF.Xt.tar.Z is corrupted.  The current size is about
    27K.  I copied the file (with binary on) and tried untaring it and
    noticed that the end of the file was corrupted.

We (at MIT) do not deal with the contents of files placed in the
anonymous ftp contrib directory; we simply provide the disk space.
Whoever placed it there will have to deal with the problem.
