Message-ID: Date: 7 Dec 89 14:47:33 GMT Reply-To: sback@elbereth.rutgers.edu (Steve Back) Distribution: usa Organization: Rutgers Univ., New Brunswick, N.J. Lines: 19 I'm in the process of upgrading from DECwindows 1.0 to DECwindows 2.0 and I seem to be running in to performance problems. We're running on VAXstation 3100's under VMS. There is a very noticeable delay when ever you click the mouse before the event occures. Iconizing a window is an exception there the delay is less noticeable. Pulling down menus can take several seconds and moving a window seems to take several clicks before the window "catches" I have already tried various options from the Customize Pointer menu with no positive results. DECwindows 1.0 did not have this problem but since it only supported DECnet we need to continue through with this upgrade. Any thought or help would be appreciated.
