    My second comment concerns iconifying windows that are specified in
    the IconManagerDontShow section.

The windows are still available in the TwmWindows menu.  Ideally, twm ought
to figure out whether or not you'll be able to get a window back before
allowing you to iconify it, but I'm not quite sure if that is completely
doable.  It could take a stab at it by not allowing a window to be iconified
by unmapping if it isn't to be shown in the icon manager *and* the TwmWindows
menu isn't bound to anything on the screen.  But, don't count on it for R4.
