My scheme to do this requires that you read news with a local spool area, however, so it may not work in its current form at MIT. You can find the original posting about it archived in tut.cis.ohio-state.edu:pub/gnu/gnus/mail-n-news.Z. Modifications to my scheme to support NNTP news with locally-stored mail would be most welcome. It's most pleasing to have a natural separation between "personal.general," "list.mach," and "mailer-daemon." Half the job of classifying my mail appropriately is done before I ever see it. --Karl
