California Lines: 16 This is fine as far as it goes, but would an announcement of a SF con not directly related to Star Trek be allowed? How about one that was more oriented to Dr Who or Fantasy? (For that matter, would the next National Space Society's International Space Development Conference be admitted? After all, Roddenberry is on the NSS Board of Governors and will try to bring cast members to the conference. Last years conference featured Jonathan Frakes. For the Neptune Encounter, NSS held a reception at Cal Tech with the Roddenberrys, Grace Lee Whitney, Walter Koenig and others (I thought it funny that the Star Trek actors got more attention than Buzz Aldrin.) in attendance and the next day Paramount hosted a NSS fund raiser ($1000 a plate) on the set of the new show with the new cast.) -- Craig E.
