Could someone explain the following behavior? First of all there seems to be two classes; $net and $local. These classes are created by default. If you try to delete an entry from $net for example, the prompt returns (no error) but the entry still remains in the class. I assume this is normal because NEWS wants to retain a record of ALL newsgroups in your NEWSRC file. I created alternative classes and then modified my profile to a default class. Unfortunately, NEWS seems to ignore this default class. What am I missing? In addition, the OPEN/NEW command does not respect your current class. Is there a way to set your class and have the OPEN/NEW command stay within that class only? -- =================================================================== | Harrison M.
