Many of the people on Key Largo are tourists, and they aren`t familiar with our birds. But a ranger at John Pennekamp underwater park called me with a pelican that was a great blue heron. And just last week I picked up a "baby osprey" that was an immature little green heron. I had a call last Sunday to pick up a "crane" that was an injured white ibis. We get them almost every day.
