Message-ID: <1989Dec3.210803.15290@jarvis.csri.toronto.edu> Organization: EECG, University of Toronto Distribution: na Date: 4 Dec 89 02:08:03 GMT A friend of mine has a SONY 26" T.V. with the surround sound system and 20? different screen viewing capability, etc. He bought 2 speakers so that he can get the surround sound effect. The speaker specs are 60W(max) and have output impedance of 4 ohms. The output from the audio jacks of the T.V. are rated at 408mVrms and has an impedance of 10 kilohms. He wants to buy a cheap amplifier for the speakers so that he uses it only for his T.V. Say under $100 ? Any suggestions? Xerxes
