Just need to > raise the pH a tad (it's 7.9 right now). Do you have enough crushed coral in the bottom ? It is a natural pH buffer which will 'dissolve' until acidic water is brought up to 8.3-8.4 . Be careful about your pH test kit. If it's old, dirty, contaminated, wrong water temp, it won't be accurate.
