You mean I could get on a Unix system and send a message t >Ed Hopper and it will go to you??? For instance, a system here in San >Diego called PNet is Unix based and is connected in the net. I have not been checking my mail on the UNIX net lately, so, I am a little out of touch. However, assuming that (1) the unix system fully implements smail (with the maps, etc) and (2) you know my address (see below) then I can be reached. I can also be reached via attmail!ehopper. Of course, attmail (AT&T Mail) is a commercial service. AT&T Mail and (ugh) MCI Mail will have a link up in February (I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall during those meetings!). So if you have an MCI Mail account, you will soon be able to reach me that way as well. PS: Since Judy Scheltema is about to put out a contract on me for not picking up my mail, I will begin checking UNIX mail shortly through moray (her system). Ed .
