The song is originally by fellow Vancouverite Terry Jacks, who with his then-wife Susan were a soft-rock duo called The Poppy Family. While girls in my junior high school were mellowing out with Susan's "Which Way You Going, Billy?", Terry came out with a spooky number that is now covered (and much improved) by Joey and the boys. The video features a lot of filthy smokestacks belching pollution and grim reminders that "Talk - Action = Nothing". Definitely in line with DOA's Green stance (will they soon be endorsing those products friendly to the environment and the body, now so popular in Canada?
