Besides the possible explanations of the penis becoming horn like when a
man is sexually aroused, and the  horns possessed by satyrs, it is quite
likely that the term "horny" originated int the medieval/renaissance notion
of a cuckold's horns, a cuckold being a man whose wife is unfaithful.  He
was traditionally marked by the horns growing on his head.
