Because I work in an engineering firm, meeting women on the job is uncommon. I cannot tolerate going to "health clubs" and doing aerobics, as I've never felt comfortable being led as a member of a herd. Also, I am already studying engineering classes after work so, taking additional classes (to meet women) is the last way I want to spend my free time. The only place I have reliably met women is in the bar scene. Unfortunately, the women I've met in bars have not proven to be worthwhile. Most of them seem to have only one thing in mind. The majority of the women I've met exagerrate the importance of their jobs. Moreover, I'll sometimes meet a woman who dresses as if she is of extraordinary financial means (e.g. she'll be wearing an outfit that would cost me more than a week's wage), yet when I get to know her better I learn of a bleak financial situation. How can a women who spends a week's wage on an outfit to wear solely to a nightclub consider herself a candidate for being a responsible wife and partner in the raising of a family? One woman I met and dated owned a top-of-the-line new Mercedes-- on a low-level secretary's salary. Later I learned she was in debt $50K on top of the loan she got for her Mercedes. When I asked her why she bought such an expensive car when she was already in debt, she claimed that she just fell in love with the car and "had to have it". Question: Where can I meet an honest, responsible woman prepared to commit to raising a family? Please don't tell me to try going to church, as I dislike organized religions as much as organized sports. Thanks for your help.
