Not to flame this poor kid (although I suspect someone will), but am I
the only female who RUNS LIKE HOLY HELL from *any* guy who specifies
that he's looking for a wife and mother?  I mean, when I go out with a
guy, it's because I like him and enjoy his company.  If it grows into
something more, great.  If we decide to make a commitment after that,
great.  But GEEZ, if he's staring across the table from me, measuring
my hip size and wondering how many I can drop before the old bod gives
out, do you think I'll go out with him again?  No, thanks, I don't
think so.  (That's obviously an exaggerated example, but it describes
my emotional reaction to men like that.)

I don't think there's one thing wrong with marriage and children.  But
the thought of searching for a lifetime mate the same way you'd shop
for a bull or a racehorse gives me the heebies.
