The phrase means alot to me and I am sure many others although it has lost its meaning to our government. Thus it seems almost hypocritical to place it on our money. Our government really did start out as a christian nation. Spereation of church and state is never in the constitution and what the writers of the constituion wanted to guarentee was freedom to worship God without being persecuted. I.E. not freedom of religion but freedom in our worship. I don't know alot on this but maybe Ricardo Davis can post more on this as I have seen many of his postings dealing with this. In His Love, Eric.
