I wish to encourage all who can do so to attend this March. Both to show support for human life and to encourage legislators who share our pro-life agenda. I wish that I could say that numbers didn't matter, but they do. In the media age, policies and projects are often determined by perceptions of public opinion. Perceptions that are influenced by the media, and the media's love of numbers. To be brief, a huge turn-out is essential. In order to demonstrate that a consistent pro-life, pro-family element is prevalent in America, we must be willing to show that a large segment is willing to sacrifice a day and some travel. A large turn-out will serve to impress our concern and will also help to solicit a favorable response from our elected officials. Many of the Right to Life committees in various locales are sponsoring buses to Washington for this event. There are more than reasonable...for instance... from Buffalo to Washington and back home will cost $35.00. Where else will you be able to make such a statement, make your voice heard so well, for the committment of one day and the godly use of a meager portion of your God-given resources? For more information, call your local or regional Right to Life office.
