It is a known bug in Mailer 2.04 and previous versions: if the FIRST file processed by Mailer upon startup is in BSMTP format, all files will be headerless, with just the 'RECEIVED...' line. The solution is to upgrade to MAILER 2.05 (the current version), available on PUCC's LISTSERV, as the MAILR2 PACKAGE (object code version) or the MAILR2S PACKAGE (source and object code version).
