MAIL generates BSMTP-format to MAILER. If mail is sent to an unknown subdomain in a known toplevel-domain the sender gets am mail from MAILER with a copy of the BSMTP transaction-log saying 'service not available for ' and not a word about for what or whom. 2.) If mail is sent to an unknown toplevel-domain the sender get s NOTHING but mailer says 'mailbox not found' in it's console log. Richard: I wonder if it really was a good idea to put that BSMTP envelope around the mail. No end-user is interested in that BSMTP transaction-log when having sent mail with a wrong address. The end-user is only interested in a short non-delivery message. A suggestion for future releases: There should be a choice if using BSMTP or not. The second error seems to be an error of MAILER.
